Jerrod M. RaybornAttorney
Jerrod M. Rayborn is the newest member of our team. Jerrod grew up in Brookhaven,
Mississippi, where he learned everything about being a Southern Gentleman
except how to enjoy sweet tea. Jerrod attended Mississippi College where
he was a member of the Varsity Tennis Team, President of Civitan Men’s
Club, and a Senator in the Student Government Association. Jerrod graduated
in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.
Between college and law school, Jerrod was the Assistant Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. After a year, Jerrod enrolled in the Mississippi College School of Law from which he graduated in 2014. While attending law school, Jerrod was a teaching assistant for two years, he served as Legal Extern for Congressman Gregg Harper, and he participated in the Adoption Legal Clinic where he completed twelve adoptions.
Jerrod joined the John Robert White, P.A. team as a law clerk during the summer before his final year of law school. After graduating from law school, passing the Mississippi bar exam, and becoming licensed to practice law, Jerrod joined the firm as an attorney. Jerrod’s primary practice area is Family Law which includes adoption, divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, property division, guardianships, conservatorships, and estate probate. Jerrod also prepares pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements as well as wills, powers of attorney, and advance health care directives.
Jerrod is admitted to practice in all Mississippi State Courts, the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Mississippi, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Mississippi, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.
Jerrod is an avid sports fan and his hobbies include tennis, golf, and watching college football.
